Welcome to arts education IDEAS. We are teachers and parents who
are deeply committed to the best for infants, toddlers, young children, and
students. For us, the best means a world that includes the arts. The arts are
natural forms of human communication, wired into everyone’s brain at
birth. They are essential parts of childhood experience if children are to
grow up whole human beings, and participating members of society. They carry
culture, invite everyone to share in community activities, and are routes to
learning.
We provide a wide range of workshops, materials, and tools to help you
bring the arts joyfully into your child’s life. We will explain why
these experiences are important, what they do for you child’s brain,
and how to do these important activities.
