Real time workshops with our highly experienced consultants provide the
most interactive professional development environment. However, to support
your professional developement, or for those seeking cost-efficient ways
to provide quality teacher training that results in student benefits,
we provide the Total Literacy video suite, complete with a video facilitator's
guide. This suite of fifteen videos allows teachers to first imitate,
then adapt, and finally create arts-infused lessons and units addressing
literacy themes.

Arts Education IDEAS provides a range of presentations and
workshops for parents, homeschool providers, and early childhood
providers and teachers. The workshops are tailored to your
needs, and may include rationale for inclusion of the arts
including brain-based research, developmental stages for learning
in and through the arts, linking arts activities to your state
or local Early Childhood standards, developmentally
appropriate materials, tools, and activities; strategies
for delivering the arts concepts and skills, arts-based readiness
strategies, and advocacy suggestions. Keynote addresses
are often followed up by workshop sessions during training

Model
General Guidelines
- Please plan as far ahead as possible so you won’t be disappointed.*
- Any generic proposal can be altered to meet the needs of the
specific group, or individuals within the group.
- Standard equipment for workshops includes:
- Theater style room arrangement with open space for movement.
- A wireless, clip-on microphone when there are over 50 participants.
- Tables for materials and activities.
- An overhead projector and screen (an extra bulb is always a
good idea).
- A stereo CD and cassette tape player (a good boom box will be
fine).
- A VHS monitor and playback machine (may not be necessary for
some presentations).
- One music stand for presenter notes.
- A pitcher of water and a glass.
*If Dr. Snyder is not available for your date, an
alternate presenter may be arranged at a reduced rate.
